Basement Bath Door on far left opens into the furnace/utility room part of the basement, the door on the right opens into the new bathroom. Built-in storage using stock vanity and laminate counter. Most important aspect of any bathroom remodeling project, but I have no idea how to stage and photograph it elegantly. One of the more impressive parts of this project is completely unseen. The basement had several unsightly support pillars supporting the center of the house. Pascal’s thoughtful design concealed all of them inside the stud walls along with the new plumbing for the bathroom. Two vanities in separate areas of the bathroom can allow multiple members of this busy household to get ready without getting in each other’s way. The soffit in the ceiling conceals all of the HVAC servingt the other floors of the house. Porcelain on cast iron tub, much more durable and better looking than fiberglass. Tile shower surround to be added later per customer’s request. Finishing the extra space below the stairs adds extra storage space.
