Ground level deck, approximately 1000 square feet, plus 17′ by 17′ foot gazebo with vaulted ceiling constructed of pressure treated lumber. Custom benches and planters surround the perimeter of the deck. Pressure treated lumber was stained after installation.
First deck project in Michigan and first Trex deck for the 2014 season. This project involved removing the existing 20+ year old pressure treated lumber decks, railing and stairs. The existing frame was then re-enforced with new pressure treated joists to provide added strength and stability. The new Trex installation featured a combination of Rope Swing Tree House and Fire Pit Trex deck boards, fascia and railings which beautifully complimented the existing brick exterior of the home.
This project featured two decks – one 10′ x 14′ deck off the master bedroom. The second deck – approximately 10′ x 15′ accessible from the kitchen with stairs for easy access to the backyard pool. Not only were both decks replaced with strong, beautiful, composite materials with a 25 year warranty against fading and staining.
